​I am a certified Gym Instructor level 2 and Personal Trainer level 3 and hold current public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

I have a great passion for fitness, having found my interest having growing from training and spending many years in the gym before deciding to study for professional qualifications in gym instruction and personal training enabling me to help others to reach their own fitness goals. For me, being able to help some gain confidence in their self image is rewarding and motivating as a Personal Trainer. I specialise in resistance training and body transformation programming, with availability for 1:1 training, group training and online coaching, there really is something to suit you and your lifestyle.

A brief history into my background...
I have spent many years in a professional career working with people in the public sector. In 2011, I used some of these skills to train and establish a career as a Makeup Artist in which I have built a successful freelance business. Having held a keen interest in the health and fitness industry for a number of years, I took the opportunity to train as a Personal Trainer in 2015. Fitness, however has not always been my focus, as a teenager and into my early adulthood, I struggled with issues relating to my self image and disordered eating. I fluctuated with gym habits which mainly consisted of endless cardio sessions on machines as I really had no idea in how I should be training! It was then, in my mid twenties that I started to change my training habits having met a Personal Trainer who introduced me to weight training. This was a revelation for me as someone who'd always avoided weights for fear of becoming "bulky" and creating the opposite of how I wished to look.

Fast forward to now, almost nine years later, I have taken time to learn how to lift weights safely with good form and technique to built a strong body with a shape that I am finally happy with. I have developed a passion for weight and resistance training, using these methods with clients to help meet their goals and live a healthier lifestyle. I believe that everything should have a balance and being able to be healthy without a sacrificing a few indulgences every now and again. Fitness, for me is holistic, both for your body and your mind because when you look good it goes a very long way to helping you feel good!
